Why a single language changes the day
On a multilingual excursion the guide says everything three times, in three languages, and shortens all three to fit the day in. That is standard and nobody complains, but half of it is lost. Here the guide speaks French for the full eight hours: the commentary runs on, you can ask questions and it goes into detail.
The three options are full, different days, and in winter they all cost the same, €59, with no lunch included. Tuesday, Masca and Garachico crossing the Teide National Park. Thursday, the Teide with La Orotava and Icod de los Vinos, home of the thousand-year-old dragon tree: the most complete if it's your first time.
Friday is the least expected and the most surprising: Las Teresitas beach, the Anaga massif with Taganana and the Cruz del Carmen viewpoint at 920 metres, and La Laguna, a World Heritage Site. Also €59. It's the green, damp side of the island, the opposite of the south where you're staying.

Frequently asked questions
What if I do not speak French?
Then this is not your excursion, and we would rather tell you now than when you are on the coach. The same places — Teide, Masca, Anaga — we have on multilingual excursions, with a guide in Spanish, English and French. Message us and we tell you which one fits.
How much do they cost and is there a child fare?
In winter, all three cost €59 and none includes lunch. Children aged 4 to 11 pay half, €29.50. For under-4s, ask us before booking. Everything includes the private bus with pick-up in the south and the French-speaking guide all day. Prices from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027.
Which should I choose on my first visit?
The Thursday one: it adds La Orotava and Icod de los Vinos, with the thousand-year-old dragon tree, to the Teide crossing. If you already know the Teide, the Friday one through Anaga will surprise you much more for the same price.
Can I do more than one?
Yes, and they are on different days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Those with a week usually do two, the Thursday one for Teide and the dragon tree, and the Friday one for the green north. No stop is repeated between them except the national park.
What do you eat, if lunch isn't included?
Whatever you bring or buy along the way: in winter none of the three includes lunch. Leave the hotel with water and something for the day, especially if you'll be crossing the Teide National Park.
Is there much walking?
No: they are coach excursions with stops and short walks, no fitness level required. If what you want is to walk on Teide or in Anaga, this is not it; the hiking ones are for that, but there the guide works in three languages and the explanations are shared out.
Is the Friday one the same as the Anaga hike?
No, and they're similar enough to be confused. The Balade Découverte «Anaga & La Laguna» is on Fridays, by bus, takes the whole day and is guided only in French. The «La Laguna & Anaga» hike is on Mondays, with a two-hour walk through the Las Mercedes laurel forest and a guide speaking Spanish, English and French. Both cost €59 and each has its own page.
Do you pick me up at the hotel, and can I cancel?
Pickup and return at your accommodation, anywhere in the south of Tenerife, are included; we confirm the time when you book. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before, and if the National Park closes for snow or wind the guide adapts the route or the date is changed. We confirm places with the provider before closing.
How is the booking confirmed?
