Why a single language changes the day
On a multilingual excursion the guide says everything three times, in three languages, and shortens all three to fit the day in. That is standard and nobody complains, but half of it is lost. Here the guide speaks French for the full eight hours: the commentary runs on, you can ask questions and it goes into detail.
The three options are full days and quite different. Tuesday, Masca and Garachico crossing Teide National Park: the cheapest at €59, and the only one without lunch. Thursday, the Teide with La Orotava and Icod de los Vinos, home of the thousand-year-old dragon tree, with lunch at a Canarian restaurant: €79, and the most complete if it is your first visit.
Friday is the one people expect least and enjoy most: Las Teresitas beach, the Anaga massif with Taganana and the Cruz del Carmen viewpoint at 920 metres, and La Laguna, a World Heritage Site. Also €79 with lunch. It is the green, damp side of the island, the opposite of the south where you are staying.

Frequently asked questions
What if I do not speak French?
Then this is not your excursion, and we would rather say so now than when you are on the coach. We cover the same places — the Teide, Masca, Anaga — on multilingual excursions with guides in Spanish, English and French. Message us and we will tell you which one fits.
Is Thursday's worth €20 more?
If it is your first trip to the island, yes: it includes lunch with wine and adds La Orotava and Icod de los Vinos, with the thousand-year-old dragon tree. If you already know the Teide, Friday's through Anaga will surprise you far more for the same price.
Can you do more than one?
Yes, and they fall on different days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. People with a week often do two — Thursday for the Teide and the dragon tree, Friday for the green north. No stop is repeated between them except the national park.
