The price is per session, not per person: do the maths
An hour of eFoil costs €170 alone, €220 for two and €270 for three; two hours, €270, €300 and €350. In other words, between three it's €90 a head per hour, and between two, €110. There's one board and you take turns, but at the start nobody lasts more than a few minutes in a row, so the other person's turn is your rest. Going alone only makes sense if you really want the board to yourself for a whole hour, and that's more than your body asks for on day one. Includes instructor, board, remote, helmet, vest and insurance; the instructor stays beside you and regulates the speed until you're in control.
Rental: only makes sense if you're coming back for more
To rent without an instructor, the centre first requires an hour-and-a-half lesson with them, and after that a single hour costs €120 and two hours €220. The 5 h ticket (€399) brings the hour down to €80 and the 10 h ticket (€699) to €70, used in sessions of at least an hour over your stay. If two people want to share the rented board, there's a shared-gear rate: €150 an hour, €250 for two, €499 for the 5 h ticket and €849 for the 10 h ticket. In plain terms: if you're only going to try it once, the session with an instructor is cheaper and safer than the prior lesson plus rental.
When eFoil pays off and when it's a waste of money
It pays off if there are two or three of you and you want an hour of flying sensation without going through the wing or kite learning curve; if it's the calm day on a wind trip and you don't want to waste it; or if you want to know what a foil feels like before signing up for a wingfoil course, because the feeling of flight is the same. It doesn't pay off if you're after exercise: it's a machine, it won't get you fit. Nor if you're alone on a tight budget, because €170 an hour with nobody to split it with is the most expensive thing in our catalogue. And if you get seasick or aren't a confident swimmer, SUP is the better choice.

Cancellation & conditions
Up to 48 h before, you cancel at no cost. eFoil needs no wind, but it does need a reasonable sea: if the centre doesn't take the board out that day, the session moves to another day of your trip.

Frequently asked questions
Do you really learn in an hour?
To fly, yes: most people get up and glide on the foil within the first 30-40 minutes, because there's no wind or sail to manage, just balance and the remote's trigger. Turning smoothly comes in the second hour.
How much board time do I get if there are three of us?
About 20 minutes per person in the hour, in several short turns. It sounds like little, but on day one your legs ask for a break every few minutes, and in 20 effective minutes almost everyone gets to fly.
eFoil or wingfoil?
eFoil if you want to fly today and never think about it again; wingfoil if you want a sport to keep practising. Many people do an hour of eFoil on the windless day and use it to decide whether the wing course is worth it for them.
Is it safe? What if I fall on the foil?
You wear a helmet and vest, the motor stops as soon as you release the trigger and the instructor is beside you regulating the speed. Falls are backwards or sideways, into the water, and the board drifts away on its own as it brakes.
Can children do it?
The centre doesn't publish a minimum age; what it looks at is that they swim well and can hold the remote and the board. Tell us age and weight and we check before booking. With teenagers it usually works very well.
Is the 5 hour ticket worth it?
Only if you're staying a week or more and have already done the prior lesson: it brings the hour down from €120 to €80. For a one-off try, no; that's what the session with an instructor is for.
Do you charge the same as the centre?
Yes, the price Duotone publishes on its website. What we add is telling you with how many people it pays off, fitting it into the rest of your trip and answering your questions on WhatsApp.
Where is it and how do I get there?
In El Médano bay, in front of the centre, on the beach promenade. From the south airport it's 10 minutes by car; from Los Cristianos or Costa Adeje, 20-25. Without a car, the bus to El Médano works, but check the return times.
