The experience

Departing from Las Chafiras with King Buggy, with three routes: Offroad (3 hours), Teide + Offroad (4) and Sunset + Teide (3). You drive yourself along scenic roads and tracks, with a guide up front setting the pace and stops at viewpoints along the way. The maths is simple: since the price is per buggy, four people in the 4-seater works out at €62.50 each, which makes it one of the best-value things on the island. As a couple, though, you pay €200 between two and it is less obvious. You will finish covered in dust, so do not schedule it on a day you have dinner booked.
