Key details
Who it's for
For groups who want something other than the beach without spending much: six friends pay €3.25 each. For families with kids who can already walk a couple of hours and like solving things, because the game gives them a reason to explore an old town without getting bored. For a cloudy day in the north, when the beach plan falls through. And to get to know a place more actively than reading signs: the clues are solved with murals, façades, plaques and details you'd normally walk past.
Who it isn't for
If you're after an escape room with sets, scares and a game master, this isn't it: there are no closed rooms, the stage is the street. Nor if you're travelling with very young children or someone who can't walk for two hours. And if you'd rather not look at your phone on holiday, pick another plan, because the whole game runs in the app. If you're not sure, ask us and we'll tell you whether you'll enjoy it.

Which route to choose
There are seven. Costa Adeje is the most booked and the easiest if you're staying in the south, though it's the most touristy area. El Médano and Los Abrigos are small coastal towns, more authentic and less crowded. Puerto de la Cruz is a good excuse to see the north, and has a second street-art route following the murals of the old town. Santa Cruz is the capital, and La Laguna, with its UNESCO World Heritage old town, is more of a cultural walk than a race.

Frequently asked questions
Is an outdoor escape room in Tenerife worth it?
In a group, yes: €19.50 shared by up to six people is one of the cheapest plans on the island, and it lasts about two hours. If you want a room with sets, no: here the stage is the street.
Is it like a normal escape room?
There's no room and no padlocks: it's a street clue game on your phone. The escape-room part is the chain of puzzles.
How much is it per person?
The booking is per group: €19.50 for up to six. Split between two, €9.75 each; between six, €3.25.
Is it good for kids?
For kids who can walk two hours without complaining and like puzzles, yes. Always with adults.
Can we do it if it rains?
You can, it's outdoors and at your own pace, but it's more fun in good weather. As there's no set time, you can pick the best moment of the day.
Which languages does it have?
The app is in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Dutch, so it works for mixed groups.
Which is the best route?
For the south, Costa Adeje; for something more authentic, El Médano or Los Abrigos; for the north, Puerto de la Cruz; for culture, La Laguna.
Can it be organised for a company or a large group?
Yes: each team of up to six makes its own booking and they play the same route at the same time. Message us and we'll help you organise it.
Can you tell me what else to do on those days?
Yes, and it is what we get asked most. Tell us which days you have free and where you are staying, and we will say what pairs well with this excursion and what should not go on the same day.
