Is it worth it?
It depends what you are after. If you want a fine-dining experience, this is not it: it is a plain, unfussy farm visit to a goat and sheep farm that also makes cheese, and to an aloe plantation. What holds it up is that both are real working operations, not a set built for coaches.
The cheese is the strong argument. You go in while the cheesemakers are working and taste several ages, including smoked ones that barely leave the islands. Visitors usually discover here that Canarian cheese is like nothing they know, and that surprise is worth the €68.
And there is an advantage no brochure mentions: it finishes at 1pm. On an island where almost everything is a ten-hour excursion, being able to do something real in the morning and still have the whole afternoon free for the beach, the pool or nothing at all changes how the day turns out.

Frequently asked questions
Is it a fine-dining experience?
No, and we would rather say so upfront. It is a farm visit with a tasting, not a sommelier-led session or a chef's menu. The produce is excellent; the format is plain. If you want the former, this is not your excursion.
Is there pressure to buy?
Both farms sell what they produce and the visit ends at the counter: that is part of the format and worth knowing. Nobody pushes, and buying is optional. That said, it is the best place on the island to take home real cheese.
What if farming does not especially interest me?
Then think twice. This is two farm visits and a coach ride: if the rural world leaves you cold, five hours will feel long however good the cheese is. With children, on the other hand, it tends to work better than people expect.
Why Fridays only?
Because the operator runs it on one fixed day a week, like the rest of their programme. If Friday does not suit you, tell us and we will suggest something else for that day rather than pushing this one.
