A circuit for every level
Karting Club Tenerife has two separate tracks, the Senior for teenagers and adults and the Junior for little ones, with six kart types between them: from the Pony for six-year-olds to the 400cc CRG for people who know what they are doing. Staff speak Spanish, English, German and French. It is the plan we fall back on most when someone's day is ruined by wind or rain: it is short, cheap, and works for almost any age. What it does not include is transport, so you need a car or a taxi to Arona.
Senior Track — adult circuit
Three karts for teenagers from 15 and adults, depending on how much power you can handle.
- CRG Kart — 400cc · 14hp · 4-stroke, Over 18s: The most powerful on the Senior track. Only if you have driven karts before: this is not where you start.
- Superkart Especial — 350cc · 10hp · 4-stroke, Over 18s: The middle ground: decent power but manageable. The one we recommend to most adults.
- Cadete Senior — 200cc · 6.5hp · 4-stroke, Ages 15 to 17: For 15 to 17-year-olds who already handle themselves well on track.
Junior Track — children's circuit
Three karts for children, from a first go at the wheel at 3 up to age 14.
- Cadete Junior — 180cc · 6hp · 4-stroke, Ages 10 to 14: The step up from the Pony, with more power, for drivers aged 10 to 14.
- Pony — 120cc · 4hp · 4-stroke, Ages 6 to 9: The first time behind the wheel, ages 6 to 9. On the Junior track, away from the adults.
- Biplaza (two-seater) — 160cc · 5.5hp · 4-stroke, Child aged 3 to 5 + one adult: An adult drives with a child aged 3 to 5 alongside. The way to get the youngest on track without fear.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous experience?
No. There are six kart types precisely for that reason: you start with the intermediate one and, if you want more, you do another session in the CRG. Nobody is going to put you in the most powerful kart on your first lap.
How much does it cost and how long is it?
Twelve minutes per session, and the price goes by kart: €16 for the Pony for children aged 6 to 9, €23 for the Cadet Junior for 10 to 14, €26 for the Cadet Senior for 15 to 17, €29 for the two-seater with an adult and a child aged 3 to 5, €39 for the adults’ Superkart and €46 for the CRG. Twelve minutes sound short and they are not: in a kart you finish with tired arms.
Superkart or CRG?
Superkart (€39) if it is your first time or you have not driven in years: plenty of power to enjoy and less to scare you. The 400 cc CRG (€46) if you have karted before and want to go for real. The usual thing is one session in each: you learn the track in the Superkart and squeeze it in the CRG.
Can I go with small children?
Yes, and it is one of the few things you can do with 3-year-olds on the whole island. In the two-seater an adult drives with the child alongside; from age 6 they drive on their own in the Pony, on the Junior track, separate from the adults.
When do we not recommend it?
If you have no car and no wish to take a taxi: there is no pickup and the circuit is in Arona, on the Cho road, exit 66 of the TF-1. If you are after scenery: this is a circuit, not an excursion. And with back or neck pain, better to watch: a kart has no suspension.
Is it a good plan for a windy or rainy day?
It is the one we most often pull out when someone’s day goes wrong: it is short, cheap, works for almost any age and with light rain you still race. Booked in advance, you do not even have to wait for a session. With heavy rain, message us and we move it.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes, no flip-flops. The circuit provides the helmet. If you have long hair, tie it back before the track marshal tells you to.
Do I need to book, and which languages do they speak?
You can go without booking, but at weekends and holidays it is best to have your session arranged so you do not wait; give us the day, approximate time and ages. They work in Spanish, English, German and French. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before; time changes depend on the circuit’s availability.
How is the booking confirmed?
